Designed by esteemed Japanese architect Manabu Sakamoto, Krung Kavee features a challenging 7,082-yard layout. Water is a dominant feature at Krung Kavee, challenging golfers on 16 of the 18 holes. The very first tee shot confronts you with water hazards flanking both sides of the fairway. As if that weren’t enough, a bunker lurks on the right, and the green itself is guarded by a front-left bunker. This opening hole sets the tone for the course, with water hazards present on each of the following nine holes. A reprieve finally arrives at the par-3 10th, the only hole without water in play.

Adding to the intrigue is a superb island par-3, the 9th hole. This 190-yard challenge (from the back tees) allows golfers of all skill levels to choose from four teeing options. Fortunately, the island green is generous in size, offering a reasonable chance to find the putting surface even for less experienced players.

Krung Kavee boasts an excellent sub-surface drainage system, allowing it to remain open even during heavy rains in Bangkok’s rainy season.
